The manufacturing phase involves the fabrication of building components in a controlled factory environment, ensuring precision and quality. This method significantly reduces construction time compared to traditional methods, resulting in cost savings and faster project delivery.

The assembly and erection phase is executed with precision by our experienced construction team. PEB structures are known for their versatility and can be customized for a range of commercial, industrial and multi-residential projects.

Speed

Faster execution on site. 100 square metres of CFS walling can be completed in the same time it takes to complete 10 square metres of block work.

Labour

CFS requires 20% of the labour of block work, providing a major time and cost advantage in the current market conditions where labour is scarce.

Quality

Since CFS is produced under factory conditions the tolerance of the walls is +/- <0.2mm, so there will not be any unevenness or undulations in the walls which is commonly seen in block work and plaster.

Thermal Insulation

A typical CFS wall executed by SBS has a U-value of 0.49 w/m2 k compared to 1 w/m2 k for a standard block work and plaster wall. This high level insulation makes the building more sustainable whilst saving the end-user money on AC costs.

Sound Insulation

A typical LGS wall executed by FrameTec has an STC rating of 45dB compared to 40dB for a standard block work wall. This results in less sound being transmitted through walls.

Sustainability

CFS is 100% recyclable and re-usable, it is far more sustainable than any concrete materials and 100% of wastage produced in the factory is recycled. 1 trailer can deliver 1,000 blocks which equates to 80 SQM of block work. The same trailer can deliver 650 SQM of LGS walls, making it 8 times more efficient and ‘green’.

Safety

The walls are delivered to site and installed. However, for block work, the blocks, sand, cement, accessories need to be transported within the site and wastage leads to a messy site with increased risk of accident and injury.

Dependency

the CFS is produced in-house by SBS’ production facility. There is reduced dependency on the external supply chain.
